6 MORE Things You Need to Know About Con Hotel

Don’t forget book your room for Anime North Texas at the Sheraton DFW Airport hotel. This is continuation of “6 Things you need to know about Con Hotels”.

  1. Get some peace and quiet

If you wish to not have housekeeping come in to your room while you are away or while trying to sleep/est you can put up the “do not disturb” sign up and you will be left alone. If you wish you have your sign up all weekend, please take #7 in to consideration.

  1. Don’t get overcharged

Be aware that things like the bottled water, phone calls, room service, spare beds, etc. can be applicable to charges. If you are unsure you can ask the front desk.

  1. Keep your feet covered

Convention policies and all hotel properties require you to have footwear on at all times while on event floors.Wearing sock does not count, and anyone found without shoes will be asked to put them on asap.

  1. Be considerate before you leave

It really helps housekeeping and goes a long way if you could place all the sheets on top of the bed and remove the pillowcases from the pillows. Place all your trash into trash bags, tie it up, and leave the trash next to the door. You can also leave the dirty towels next to the door before leaving. Please check all the drawers, cabinets, and closets to make sure you have all your things. This can greatly help out housekeeping when our event is checking out and will incentivise them to leave a good review for us.

  1. Be nice

It’s no secret that you catch more flies with honey and the same for just about anywhere you go. The hotel staff you interact with all weekend can make you stay smooth and comfortable. Being rude to the staff doesn’t only make you look bad, but us as well. We understand that long days can be stressful for anyone, but try to remember that the staff is only trying to do their job, and not personally singling you out. .

  1. Free Parking

Only applicable to Anime North Texas, the Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel offers complimentary parking. Parking is limited, so be prepared to use the very affordable overflow lot. Get there early!
