About Allison Lowery…

Allison Lowery is the wig and makeup specialist for The University of Texas. She has been teaching courses in wigs and makeup since 2005. She co-authored the textbook Wig Making and Styling: A Complete Guide for Theatre and Film with Martha Ruskai, and authored Historical Wig Styling: Volumes 1 and 2.

Lowery received her undergraduate degree in theatre from the College of William and Mary in 1996 and received her master’s degree in wig and makeup design from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 1999. Among her many jobs, she was a wig maker for the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the wig master for American Players Theatre and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and created wigs and makeup for the Utah Shakespeare Festival, the Sarasota Opera, the Atlanta Opera, Piedmont Opera Theatre and Glimmerglass Opera. Locally, Lowery has designed wigs for ZACH Theatre, TexArts, the Zilker Park summer musical, St. Edward’s University, Texas State University and Austin Shakespeare. She is a member of USITT.  She is a freelance photographer, makeup artist, hair/wig stylist, and wardrobe stylist.  She is the 2017 winner of the Texas Campaign for the Environment’s Trash Makeover Fashion Show.

About Dee Rich…

Dee is active in the cosplay community and has been costuming for over 6 years. She guests and judges Cosplay contest at numerous cons through the Southwest, and often serves as a Moderator on celebrity panels.

She has been featured in several magazines to include D Magazine and Cos Couture.

You can usually find her holed up in her craft room or playing Dungeons & Dragons with her fellow cosplayers.

She loves comics, anime, WoW & tabletop gaming. Keep up with her shenanigans on her social media!

MCubed Cosplay is a DFW based cosplayer and model. She has been acting and creating costumes since she was 3 years old. She graduated from Texas Christian University, and it is there that she honed her costume creating skills by being a part of the TCU professional costume department.

In the cosplay world she is most widely known for her movie accurate Slave Leia and being the third movie accurate Rey in the world. Her love of nerd culture started at a young age when her father introduced her to Star Wars. From there, she was irreversibly hooked. From Spiderman, to Harry Potter, through Lord of the Rings, and back to her first love Star Wars, she has a deep connection to all things nerd.

Disney, Anime, Broadway, top 40: Caleb Hyles has done it all when it comes to cover songs! With his big heart and even bigger voice, Caleb has wowed millions across the globe with a multitude of musical styling and an infectious, positive attitude. Caleb Hyles has a history in musical theatre, having grown up in a family of musicians and thespians. There was no doubt that Caleb was born to be an entertainer of some kind! Caleb has been recognized by the likes of Ryan Seacrest, Tyler Oakley, DeeDee Magno Hall, and many others for his musical prowess. Ever since his viral hit, “Let It Go”, dropped in 2014 Caleb has not stopped growing his YouTube channel which has grown over 600k subscribers. By holding Live Q&A’s, and random “Skype Nights” with fans, Caleb has nurtured a growing community centered around one-on-one interaction and a common love for all things music and fanatic nerdom. No other performer or YouTube personality does as much for his fans as Caleb does.

He continues to produce new content on a weekly basis and is expanding his reach onto other platforms, such as Twitch! This endeavor, along with this YouTube Gaming channel of the same name, Peace Love and Gaming, it is evident that big things are happening with Caleb. He hopes that anyone and everyone will join him for the ride. As Caleb says at the end of every video, “Peace, love, and metal!!”

About Josh…

Josh Martin has been the voice of Majin Buu (Fat, Evil and Kid) from DBZ and Commander Red from Dragonball since 2001, as well as memorable characters from Lupin the 3rd and Yosaku from One Piece. Josh has also written and produced short films; co-owned, operated, and performed in improv, sketch, and musical comedy troupes; and even provided body talent for Barney (the purple dinosaur) on the award winning world tour. When he’s not in the booth, he’s serving up fresh rhymes with his band mates in The Original Beastie Boys Tribute Band Rhymin’ N Stealin’.
